Friesian.jpg
Elegant and Majestic.

This majestic horse hails from Holland and is known for elegant, upright neck, powerful quarters, long mane, and feathered legs. In its early use, the Friesian was used for farming and cargo carrying. In 122 C.E., the Friesian was brought to northern England with laborers to work on the construction of Hadrian’s Wall. During the Middle Ages, they were used as the mount of knights, now they are a popular dressage horse due to their graceful movements.
